Connect Learning Online For Schools

Course Overview

Connect Learning Online has been designed to support school leaders and teachers on your journey as educators to improve the way you relate with, communicate and engage parents of the students you teach.

Like any partnership, a relationship must begin with trust. But how do you build trust with parents in schools when you are time poor, focused on teaching and managing through the daily challenges of your chosen profession?

This online course has been developed to provide you with support throughout the course, to enable learning in your own time and for you to earn credentials for each module to include as part of your professional learning achievements. Once you have purchased the training you are provided lifetime access to video tutorials, webinars and resources to support you in developing positive connections, improve relational skills and understanding of how to walk alongside parents as partners in their children’s learning so your students can thrive.

Our Unique 6 Step Formula

It takes time and effort to build trusted relationships, particularly in schools when time is limited and your students are your main focus.

Our unique 6 step PRECEDENT Formula® provides teachers and leaders with a manageable system that can continue to be drawn on each year to build effective communication, engagement and trust with parents to enable a partnership approach
to supporting your students to thrive.

Drawing on our work with schools and parents through our coaching and consulting programs, exploring extensive research and adaptation of the Dual Capacity Framework we explore various methods to improve connections with parents to benefit you and your students.

The online course includes Interviews with experts in building rapport, understanding how parent knowledge supports student learning, conflict resolution and providing insight into various strategies you can adopt for impactful teaching practice. All modules are designed to support you to build confidence, overcome any anxieties or challenges you may have in relating with parents and to better understand your students by partnering with parents.

By the end of this course you will have increased skills in understanding yourself as a person and as a professional educator, with increased self awareness and the skills to feel confident in connecting and communicating with parents and your students.
