Our Unique 6 Step Formula
It takes time and effort to build trusted relationships, particularly in schools.
Our unique 6 step PRECEDENT Formula® provides teachers and leaders with a manageable system that can continue to be drawn on each year to build trusted relationships and effective communication with parents.
Drawing on our coaching experience, extensive research and the Dual Capacity Framework for developing the capacity of teachers to engage and for families to engage in the learning of their children, we explore various methods to improve connections. Interviews with experts in building rapport, parent knowledge, conflict resolution provide insight into various strategies you can adopt for impactful teaching practiced to build confidence when working in partnership with parents.
By the end of this course your teachers will have increased skills in understanding themselves and their own self awareness, have the skills to feel confident in connecting and communicating with parents and their students, understand how to tap into parent knowledge to enhance their connections with students and build trusted relationships with parents. When teachers have the support of parents as partners who are engaged in their children’s learning, children are able to thrive in their learning and wellbeing.
