Webinar Overview

How can you authentically partner with parents?

Your time is precious. Your teachers are working hard. Your students are learning. Some are thriving, some are coasting, some are struggling.

Parents are becoming more demanding, anxious and in some cases quite aggressive when it comes to satisfying their expectations for their children.

Perhaps you are having challenges in how to build trust and how to engage parents to support their children’s learning. Yes there are challenges, but there are also solutions.

Our three step process will show you the strategies for developing successful and authentic partnerships with parents to support student learning.

Why should I attend this webinar?

Did you know there are 90 intellectual abilities that can be taught and these are skills that enable children to learn curriculum effectively?

Our partners at Energia SOI explore children’s cognitive learning from an holistic, strength based approach in knowing that brain differences are normal, rather than deficits. This concept and way of thinking can reduce the stigma around learning and thinking differences in children.

Through these webinars you will learn from leading international experts how they are supporting cognitive learning for all learners using Structure Of Intellect methods to improve targeted cognitive abilities.

You will learn how Cognitive Learning ESOI Certification Training and Individual Learning Programs are a proven method to improve you or your teachers’ skills and confidence, ability to increase children’s learning potential and overcome learning, behavioural and cognitive challenges.

The assessment training applies to primary and secondary aged students as well as students who are interested in developing their cognitive skills for specific careers.

If you would like an overview of the Cognitive Training Certification program – Energia Structure of Intellect method including:

• the skills and tools to effectively assess the gaps for individual children, assisting you with personalised learning approaches
• understand how to help students with neurodiverse learning needs
• how to manage the many different learning needs of children in your classroom
• skills to identify children who are most at risk of delayed learning
• an overview of the training to effectively assess and teach general capabilities including creative and critical thinking and improve personal and social capabilities

I have worked with Rachel Saliba since 2019 and found her to be passionate and committed in providing parents in Catholic schools with a strong and meaningful voice. Her impressive approach and understanding from both a parent and educator’s perspective makes her ideally suited to represent parents in any dialogue about what 21st century education should look like. Her professional and understated manner makes her a joy to work with. Parents have traditionally lacked an educated voice speaking on their behalf in the education sector, and in Rachel they have a high flyer who has the perfect qualities to present the parent’s agenda in the forming of education policy.

Ralph Barba

Director Making Media Australia

If you are a school that is in need to promote yourself in your community, Rachel Saliba and Practically Learning is the first person and organisation you should contact. Her deep understanding about what parents and families want when selecting a school for their children allows her to formulate a specialised and vibrant marketing strategy for schools that is authentic and proven. She is the master of being able to convey the essence of a school to its community. In video work I have done for Practically Learning I have never seen teachers more prepared and passionate about telling their story to prospective parents. This is testimony to Rachel’s preparatory work and rare ability to get educators and schools to tell their story in a powerful way.

She is professional and reliable and I enjoy working with her on a variety of projects.

Rachel’s work strengthens positive outcomes for all stake holders. Rachel is my ‘go to person’ when I want to align the organisation’s work with the community of which it is a part.

What is Energia Structure of Intellect?

Energia Structure of Intellect corrects the child’s cognitive skills deficits rather than teaching academic subjects (Memory, Problem Solving, etc). Each cognitive capacity is mapped to or linked to an academic skill; as a result, Energia Structure of Intellect training can be seen as a prelude to easier assimilation of curriculum material and development of critical life skills related to cognitive abilities. Products and programmes from Energia Structure of Intellect are made to alter how students approach the curriculum.
